Dais provided a collection of artworks for three artist residency apartments in the Police Married Quarters scheme, Hong Kong. The PMQ scheme was initiated by the HKSAR Government to preserve the Grade III listed building as a heritage site dedicated to supporting the creative industries. Artworks provided by Dais were sourced to bring leading emerging talent from British art schools to Hong Kong.
Artworks include a large scale painting by South Korean artist and Slade School of Art graduate Kyounghee Noh (featured right), two photographic works by London College of Communication graduate and winner of the 2014 International Kontinent Award Ellie Davies (featured below) and a large scale painting by German artist and Royal College of Art graduate Paula Baader (featured last).
PMQ comprises of affordable units that are rented out to artists and designers, exhibition spaces and various food and beverage establishments. PMQ launched in May 2014 in liaison with Art Basel Hong Kong.
